PHL* 201 - Africana Philosophy CALT 3 credits Course is a modern critical approach to Western philosophy through African-American, African, and Afro-Caribbean philosophy. Explores the question of what it is to be human in the context of denied humanity, the nature of freedom informed by the reality of enslavement and colonization, the legitimacy or freason when logical structures have served to rationalize skewed and unjust representations of reality.
