IDS 112 - Career Seminar & Internship

CALT: Critical Analysis/Logical Thinking
3 credits

Designed to promote career exploration and academic program selection by introducing general studies students to career and major options. Will introduce students to industry-specific expectations and experiences both in and out of the classroom integrating coursework and practical applications. Provides on the job training and internship experiences in a variety of workplace environments. Students are required to work a total of 80 hours during 8 weeks of the 15 weeks in the semester.
Prerequisite(s): ENG* 101 and completion of at least 15 hours of college level courses or instructor’s permission.
