CSA* 105 - Introduction to Software Applications 3 credits Provides an introduction to IBM-compatible microcomputers, a basic understanding of Windows and the Internet, and an in depth coverage of the use of the microcomputer as an office productivity tool. Covers creating and editing word processing documents, spreadsheets and computerized visual presentations. Also covers file management using the Microsoft Windows operating system. This course assumes no prior computing experience and is open to all students except those majoring in computer science.
