MFG* 216 - Tool Designing CALT 4 credits Covers the theory of metal cutting tools design. Presents the principles, practices, tools, and commercial standards of single point, jig, fixture, and die design through lectures, visual aids, and individual projects and design work. The laboratory portion provides practice in the design of metal cutting tools. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 4 Prerequisite(s): CAD* 108 and MFG* 102 .
