Addresses the core technologies of access control, cryptography, digital signatures, authorization, network firewalls, and network security services. Covers issues in security policy and risk management. Examines in depth firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention, and packet analysis, including email, database, Internet, and Intranet security.
